Managing documents with internal references


You can manage ‘standard’ documents, templates and reports and save them on a central location in the Fortes Change Cloud. Use the internal reference number to link for another location to these documents, templates of reports.


Creating an internal reference

1.Go to the source template, select the row and click History. Copy the number at the top of the screen Internal link ID. (example: 174185)

2.Go to the location where you want to use the document, for example:

a details page of a planning-item: click  ‘+’ in the correct section

the automated reports section: click Edit

3.A pop-up appears. Paste the copied number in the Internal Document Link field and click OK.

4.The document is now available on this location
